01- How to Power on/off, Reboot or Reset My Linux VPS

This tutorial explains the best way to restart your VPS from your control panel. If for any reason you can't connect to your VPS, please follow these steps to get it back up and running:

1- Login to your Client Area, using your email address and your password.

2- Once you are logged in, go to "My Services" in the right menu.

3- Once you are in the "My Services" page, click on the details icon as shown in the below screenshot.

4- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and find the VPS control panel. It should look like the below screenshot. It will show you all the VPS details/information. To restart it , click on the "Reset" button.

5- Once you click "Reset", you will receive a confirmation to proceed, click "OK"

6- Once you completed Step 5, please allow 2-3 minutes for the VPS to shutdown. Then restart and you should start getting internet connection. At this Point, you won't be able to connect to your VPS, simply keep refreshing this page from your browser.

*** You will also notice that the "Guest OS" and "IP Address" fields are both empty, so keep refreshing the page.

7- Keep refreshing your browser until you see the "IP Address" field be filled with your own IP. Once your IP address starts showing (see below screenshot), you can start connecting to your VPS. However, we recommended that you wait until both the IP Address and Guest OS are listed (see step 8).

8- Once your VPS is up and ready to use, both the IP Address and Guest OS will be listed (see below screenshot).

We hope that this tutorial helped you get more familiar with the control panel. If you need additional assistance, you are always welcome to open a support ticket at any time and we will be glad to help you.
